**Job Description** **WGL - Talent Acquisition Specialist** Washington Gas is seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Recruiting Team. This position will be responsible for full-cycle Recruitment for our Operations Teams within our Utility Operations Service Territories. The role has an in-office requirement of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week working out of our Springfield, VA Operations Center. **Tasks and Responsibilities** + Conduct end-to-end recruitment processes, from job requisition posting to onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience. + Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop job postings, and create effective sourcing and interviewing strategies. + Utilize various recruitment channels, including social media, job boards, and professional networks, to attract qualified candidates and build strong talent pipelines. + Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates' suitability for specific roles. + Manage the offer and background check processes, ensuring a smooth transition from candidate acceptance to onboarding. + Plan and conduct employee orientation sessions. **Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree preferred or relevant work experience. + At least 2 years of full lifecycle recruitment experience in a fast-paced environment required. + Union Hiring Experience is a big plus + Experience working with Workday is highly preferred. + Proven track record of success with a variety of recruiting methods including direct sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter, social recruiting and relationship building with pipeline partners. + Knowledge of Recruiting Compliance in accordance with legal, regulatory, OFCCP and company guidelines. We offer a competitive salary range of $78,000.00 to $102,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills.
