Auto Accessories, part of the ADI Network at Hendrick Automotive Group is seeking a full-time Wheel and Tire Technician at our Auto Accessories ADI Center in Duluth, Georgia!
Summary: To process the mounting and balancing of wheel sets
Pay Range: $17 per hour.
Schedule: Full Time, Business hours Monday- Friday, 9:00am- 6:00pm.
Job Responsibilities:
Mounting and Balancing of wheel kitsPulling components for wheel kits to be builtWrapping and labeling the wheel sets correctly and moving them to the shipping department once completedMaintains an organized, clean and safe work areaMaintains CSI at or above company standardsParticipates in required trainingRecords all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.Demonstrates the Company’s Core ValuesComplies with Company policies and proceduresObserves all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.Other duties as assignedQualifications:
Valid Driver License.High School Diploma or equivalent.Previous tire shop experience a plus.Previous warehouse and/or forklift experience a plus but not required.Ability to lift 70+ pounds.Deadline-oriented.Computer Skills:
Basic computer skills needed to utilize the company timekeeping system.
Communication Skills:
Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company
personnel.
Attendance Expectations:
The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and sit. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Work includes frequent movement around the dealership facilities and the outdoor car lot and movement in and out of cars.
Environment Demands:
Duties are performed primarily in the Parts Department. Work includes moving throughout the Parts Department and frequent moving and shelving of parts.
Verbal and Writing Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations.
