As a Senior Associate in the Policy and Program Support team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of internal clients and subject matter experts at every level of the organization. You will be instrumental in promoting execution and implementation of strategic regulatory initiatives, leading meetings and presentations, and actively participating in requirement walkthroughs with SMEs and key business users. This role will challenge you to grow your understanding of the business, identify and manage risks, and demonstrate effective controls around the introduction of change and process improvements.
Job responsibilities
Lead meetings and presentations, at the operational and project level; work with program management to help prioritise work across impacted areas. Lead scope definition and requirements gathering sessions, capture of requirements in readiness for project handover to the aligned Project Manager. Facilitate and actively partake in requirement walkthroughs with SMEs and key business users, obtain, review, and understand project requirements, assess risks and issues, actively help solve problems that may arise, and ensure robust solutions are delivered to meet the specified business requirements. Identify and influence the key stakeholders needed to capture project requirements. Act as an escalation point for wider stakeholder issues to make all parties aware of overall project impact, facilitating management decisions at the earliest opportunity. Ensure all stakeholders are aware and appraised of key developments; maintain living, evolving, documentation to ensure there is clarity of both the current status and next steps. Provide continuous feedback on plan status; ensure information is shared, issues escalated and addressed timely. Grow understanding of the business, end to end onboarding process and stakeholder environment in order to actively shape the operating model and challenge assumptions. Identify, document, and communicate risks and dependencies affecting deliveries; drive their resolution. Actively identify, manage & escalate Risks, Issues & Dependencies, whilst continuing to own mitigation. Demonstrate effective controls around the introduction of change and or process improvements. Follow the prescribed WKO Change Management process. Identify opportunities to improve and streamline Governance and Control activities and then drive through changes to implement those changes.Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
A basic understanding of project requirements gathering, project delivery process, business analysis, data capture Solid communication skills, written, verbal & visualization, coupled with the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization, influence others & gain consensus. Have great attention to detail, a naturally inquisitive approach to problem solving, and a very high-quality bar. A motivated, experienced self-starter approach with an excellent problem-solving mind-set - ability to drive a positive action orientated approach to define and broker solutions, and resolve conflict across teams. A team player able to work effectively as part of a hardworking, close-knit team. Result oriented attitude. Ability to be flexible, work to tight deadlines and prioritize work. Ability to work with large data sets and establish trends to form and validate process decisions. Required: Solid PC skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
