As a Payment Lifecycle Manager I in Wholesale Payment Operations, you will be responsible for strengthening and monitoring the control environment to ensure zero errors, fines, and losses. You will manage a team of transaction processing specialists, oversee the scheduling, processing, and reconciliation of cash transactions, and ensure all daily activities and checklists are completed accurately and on time. Your role includes managing team deliverables and SLAs, providing timely updates to stakeholders and clients, responding promptly to queries, and escalating issues that may impact service. You will drive process improvements, implement cost-saving measures, leverage technology for system enhancements, and adopt best practices in partnership with other teams. Additionally, you will maintain compliance with JPM policies and local regulations, actively participate in new projects, support audits, and foster a positive team environment through effective expectation management and training initiatives.
Job Responsibilities :
Strengthen and monitor the control environment to ensure no errors, fines, or losses.Manage a team of 7–10 transaction processing specialists, including team leaders, for cash transactions on core systems.Oversee production queues, reconciliation reports, and end-of-day activities to ensure accurate processing.Ensure all team deliverables and SLAs are completed and issued to clients on schedule.Provide timely updates to stakeholders and clients on pending requests and process impacts.Respond promptly to client service and internal queries, ensuring timely resolution.Identify, escalate, and resolve issues that may impact service delivery.Implement cost-saving measures and leverage technology for system enhancements.Partner with other transaction processing teams to adopt best practices.Maintain compliance with JPM policies and local regulatory requirements, and assist in audits.Foster team morale through expectation management, training, and active participation in new projects.Required qualifications, capabilities and skills,
Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of payment operations experience in banks/financial institutions, including 2 years in a leadership role.Proven operational excellence in service delivery, with strong focus on timeliness and accuracy; proactive, self-starter with effective commitment management and problem-solving abilities.Strong verbal and written communication skills, and solid interpersonal skills for communication at all organizational levels.Knowledge of core cash and trade products, controls, and operational risks.Willingness to work US shift timings Strong proficiency in Microsoft tools.Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills,
