Title: Wholesale Sales Director Location(s): Any Everstream Market Position Summary: The role of a Wholesale Sales Director is to follow a definable and repeatable solutions-based sales process to sell National & Regional Telecommunications Carriers on or near-net owned lit and dark fiber network services to meet and exceed assigned quota. Primary Responsibilities: Sales Process Defined account management and targeting type II business opportunities within on-net buildings and the immediate areas. Carrier core network solutions. Drive behavior of the carrier to think of Everstream when their network is not available. Activity Manage and maintain updated on-net and nearnet pricing in the format required by the carrier to increase the probability of Everstream being a viable solution. Quarterly reviews with each carrier specifically with their Type II costing team as well as their network planning staff. Turn special construction pricing requests within 72 hours of the request. Identify key sales personnel and their target account lists within National & Regional Telecommunications Carriers and drive Everstream Dark Fiber and Lit Solutions to enable sales. Identify key backbone network personnel within National & Regional Telecommunications Carriers and drive Everstream Dark Fiber and Lit Solutions to solve regional and metro backbone network needs. Market/Territory Penetration Work to leverage Connected2fiber and KMZs to keep carriers informed of market expansions and new market greenfield builds. Continue to work with new regional carriers and other IT related organizations whom would need fiber services to compliment their offerings. Work to bundle deals to improve ROIs and continue to grow the Everstream network. Requirements: 5+ years of selling wholesale telecom (like industry) sales experience. Proven sales experience and results. Defined and repeatable sales process. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Fiber optical networking (Ethernet, Internet) as well as Dark Fiber. Sales experience as a “hunter” and as a “farmer”. Knowledge of data center and cloud back-up and recovery. Microsoft Office. Salesforce.com.
