**What will your role be?**
Our Supply Chain and Manufacturing team are problem-solvers, sourcing, producing, and delivering our much-loved brands to delight customers around the globe. Over half of Diageo’s 30,000+ people work in Supply Chain and Manufacturing. It’s an intricate and sophisticated operation that’s the product of logistical, manufacturing, and technical collaborations.
Our teams in 100 sites in over 30 countries cover production facilities, supplier relationships, customer collaborations and third-party agreements. This role will ensure compliance to internal and external HSE requirements and implement programs, policies and procedure in line with risk management and change management and Capex Safety Policy processes.
The role will work with all levels of stakeholders and influence cultural change across the organisation.
The role is responsible for the Huntingwood site, head office and National Field Sales teams and offices. The role is based within a team comprised of a number of experts in their field. The team is based in Huntingwood, Sydney and Bundaberg QLD.
**This position is a maternity leave 12-month FTC with a view for extension.**
**What does this role look like for you?**
+ Development of an HSEMS, including consultation, implementation and review.
+ Ensuring compliance to NSW state WHS/Environmental legislation and acts. and compliance with corporate standards, aims and objectives. Liaise with 3rd parties, customers and key stakeholders to ensure business needs are met. Support other Diageo businesses such as Bundaberg Distillery as required.
+ Participating in site workplace safety activities and facilitating a best practice approach to HSEMS, HSE risk assessments and HSE Training Content.
+ Lead investigations of high/moderate risk incidents/occurrences in cooperation with other business partners or individually.
+ Lead Capex projects safety as the Diageo Global Engineering Safety Policy
**What will you bring to the table?**
+ Certificate IV / Diploma or Degree in WHS
+ Allied Health Professional (or similar) - Return to Work credentials
+ 5 years experience in health and safety, ideally in manufacturing, transport or logistics. Work in hazardous areas desirable.
+ Sound understanding of Safety Management Systems and risk management frameworks
+ 5 Years experience in a national Injury Management role
