Scope
Upon joining our team as an Electronics Assembly Technician, you will be helping to test and rework electronics and electromechanical assemblies. We are looking for an experienced EE technician with excellent hand soldering skills with the ability to work with on fine pitch and small package components. You will perform complicated reworks and/or modifications of circuit boards and electronic products. You will be supporting customer site product installations that will require travel at times.
Responsibilities
Work on PC boards and attach/solder wires Test circuit boards and final assemblies to ensure quality product Solder electronic components on printed circuit boards and assemble electronic boards, mechanical parts, and cables into cases Frequent lifting of equipment and products (~5 pounds), occasional lifting of gear and equipment (up to 25 pounds) Use of app to pair/test products Assemble and package products Assist with testing of current product suite as well as new product developmentQualifications
Associate Degree or equivalent training or certification in Electronics Technology or Engineering 2+ years of relevant work experience Excellent communication and organizational skills Attention to detailSkills
Passion, diligence, integrity, and exceptional aptitude Great team player with excellent oral and written communication and negotiation skills Excellent problem solving skills Competency with working on Windows based computers Competency with typical lab materials and tools Familiarity with plumbing fixtures and water meters a plus Strong mechanical aptitudeCollaborative working style and team-player attitude
