Compensation Range

The base pay scale for this position is $99,000.00 - $150,750.00. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

The role requires at least two years of IT implementation/support experience, Epic Willow Inpatient certification, and flexibility for night/weekend work and on-call rotation during major implementations. Responsibilities include analyzing workflows, maintaining systems like FDB and medication dispensing devices, collaborating with stakeholders, supporting training, troubleshooting, and managing system changes, with a preference for candidates having healthcare backgrounds and additional Epic certifications.

Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) seeks an experienced Epic Willow Inpatient Analyst to support and maintain the Epic Willow Inpatient module and related pharmacy systems. This role serves as a key liaison between IT, Pharmacy, Prescribers, Nursing, and Epic. Flexibility for night/weekend work and on-call rotation is required during major implementations.

Experience

Required:

2+ years of IT implementation/support experience1+ year Epic Willow Inpatient experience

Preferred:

Healthcare backgroundStrong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with SharePoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Visio, PowerPointExperience with full Epic implementation lifecycle

Responsibilities

Maintain in-depth knowledge of Epic Willow Inpatient, FDB, and medication dispensing systems (e.g., Pyxis, Omnicell)Analyze workflows, data, and technical issues; design and maintain solutionsCollaborate with stakeholders to tailor systems to business needsDocument procedures, build/test solutions, and support training effortsProvide on-call support and troubleshoot user issuesReview and test system changes and new releasesSupport change management, QA, and disaster recovery processesCommunicate effectively across teams and contribute to meetings
