Essential Responsibilities
Support the new-units and services teams in their proposals by performing Wind Resource Assessments, Annual Energy Production estimates, and Turbine Layout OptimizationsTranslate measured wind conditions to wind resource characterizations and generate input conditions to Mechanical Loads AssessmentsDevelop solutions to increase customer value and enable digital wind farm optimization.Communicate and provide recommendations through analysis, preparation, and presentation of technical material to internal and external audiencesCollaborate with internal and external customers to advance internal and industry initiativesContribute to the creation of customer facing technical documentsQualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or a closely related fieldDesired Characteristics
Highly motivated, self-starter, energetic, positive, flexible in changing environments.Ability to demonstrate a structured approach to problem solving, learning agilityExcellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple termsStrong interpersonal skills, ability to work in project teams in an international environmentProficiency in MS Office toolsWind Resource Assessment or any wind-related engineering and technology experienceFamiliarity with OpenWind, Windographer, GIS tools, and/or Wind Turbine micro-sitingField instrumentation, test and/or validation experienceThe salary range for this position is $79,400 - $119,000 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation. This posting is expected to close on November 13th or thereafter.
