Job Description

The Farms are located in the central belt of Scotland, Newton Stewart all the up to Cowdenbeath. You will be located between the East and West Hub. Most Wind Farms are within 1 x hours commute from either Hub.

 Previous maintenance experience on Wind Turbines and are or could be able to lead a team when necessary.Ability to work independently on the implementation of fault analyses and repair of wind turbine generator systems , including clarification of any client queries.Ability to work away from home when business dictatesDocumentation of call-out responses, fault finding and repair work in service reports, logbooks and checklistsCoordination of external and internal service providers and contractors on siteContact person for client technical queries, such as retrofits and repairsWilling to work and fulfill on-call obligations for out of normal working hours if required. (e.g. weekend working)

Qualifications/Requirements :

Professional training in electrical engineering sector (electrician, power electronics system, mechatronic engineer) or the equivalent knowledge/experienceFamiliar with MS-Office operating systemFamiliar with PLCsHigh degree of quality awareness; excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills combined with the ability to detect and remedy faults, defects, problems Team player, cooperative, interested in further personal and career developmentConfident personalityAble to work at heightsStructured worker with technical analytical abilitiesHigh degree of flexibility, highly motivated with the ability to work under pressurePrepared to travel throughout Scotland
