A Carter Lumber Window & Siding Technician will perform repairs and installations of windows and siding products under warranty claims at residential and commercial job sites throughout the Akron & Cleveland areas. A solid understanding of exterior building systems, proper siding installation techniques, and window functionality is key to success in this role. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position.

Requirements:

Proven experience in installing and repairing windows and sidingStrong knowledge of building materials, tools, and exterior construction techniquesExcellent work ethic and ability to meet deadlines under pressureSolid math and measuring skillsAbility to follow both written and verbal instructionsSkilled at analyzing and solving field-based problemsA clean driver's licenseService vehicle provided 

Responsibilities:

Assess job sites prior to beginning work to ensure that high-quality repairs and installations can be performedPerform warranty repairs and product adjustments using the proper materials and provided toolsConduct inspections of windows and siding for damage, performance, and safety issuesMaintain a safe and clean work environment at all times on job sitesDeliver exceptional service by treating customers with respect and professionalism, ensuring that work is completed on time and to high standardsRepresent the company positively by adhering to conduct standards and responding to customer concerns with patience and professionalismPursue necessary training to stay current with product repair techniques and safety proceduresObtain certifications relevant to siding and window products to ensure excellent service quality
