Job Description:
We are looking for an L3 Systems Administrator with expertise in Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, and 2019, along with hands-on experience in Hyper-V failover clusters and related tools. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of SAN storage, iSCSI, multipath configurations, and physical server management (preferably Dell hardware).
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support Hyper-V failover clusters, including Hyper-V Manager and Failover Cluster Manager.
Perform server replication from primary to secondary sites.
Upgrade and reinstall Windows Server OS versions as needed.
Provide Linux Server support for VM deployments and basic troubleshooting.
Manage Group Policy and Active Directory configurations.
Handle patch and vulnerability management, ensuring system security and stability.
Maintain optimal system performance and user access management.
Collaborate with vendors to resolve hardware and software issues.
Troubleshoot system errors, review logs, and recommend enhancements for server architecture.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
Provide expert recommendations for system upgrades and improvements.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, and 2019.
Expertise in Hyper-V failover clusters and related tools.
Hands-on experience with physical server environments (preferably Dell hardware).
In-depth understanding of SAN storage, iSCSI, and multipath configurations.
Experience in server replication and OS upgrades/reinstallations.
Basic Linux Server support experience.
Proficiency in Group Policy, Active Directory, and user access management.
Experience with patch and vulnerability management.
Strong troubleshooting skills for system errors and performance issues.
Ability to collaborate with vendors and internal teams for issue resolution.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
