**Description** SAIC is seeking a motivated and self-driven Windows Infrastructure Engineer/Administrator to support an essential customer mission area and organization. The position requires someone to work both individually and in a team environment to complete deadline-driven tasks. The candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining Windows-based systems and networks, providing technical support to users, and ensuring the security and reliability of the infrastructure. **Responsibilities/Functions:** + Install, configure, and maintain Windows-based operating systems, servers and applications + Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and network connectivity issues + Implement and manage security protocols and firewalls to protect against cyber threats + Deploy and manage software updates, patches, and antivirus software + Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls + Create and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures + Provide technical support to end users, which may include HW and SW troubleshooting and resolution + Collaborate with other IT teams to design and implement new technologies and solutions + Ability to flex hours as required to support mission needs and emergency response **Qualifications** + Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Windows system administration/engineering + Minimum of 9 years of overall technical experience + **Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly clearance** + Proficiency with Microsoft Powershell + Experience with Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP + Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMWare and Hyper-V + Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VLANs + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Desired** + Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field + Industry certifications such as MCSE, MCSA or CompTIA A+ Experience with automation for Windows SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
