The Opportunity:
Windows System Administrator
Bangalore
Mandatory Skills :
Server Management: Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Windows Server operating systems and related services.
Infrastructure Support: Manage and support all aspects of the Windows server infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking components.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor server performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize server resources.
Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect the server environment from threats.
Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Patch Management: Apply and manage operating system and application patches.
User Account Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation.
Specific Skills and Knowledge:
Windows Server Proficiency: Experience with different versions of Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022, etc.) & Dell/SuperMicro Hardware like iDRAC.
Active Directory: Solid Understanding of managing Active Directory, including user accounts, groups, and policies.
Group Policy: Experience with Group Policy management.
Networking: Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Storage Management: Knowledge of storage technologies and solutions.
Scripting: Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation.
Troubleshooting: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Security Best Practices: Knowledge of security best practices and industry standards.
Solid understanding on Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), Windows Deployment Services (WDS), Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager(MECM),
Mandatory Skills
Should have minimum one year hands on working experience in On-premises Data Center
Script writing knowledge for automation
Should work from Microsoft DC at BLR or HYD (Any one location)
Diagnose technical issues related to OS, Network & DB
Active Directory: Solid Understanding of managing Active Directory, including user accounts, groups, and policies.
Group Policy: Experience with Group Policy management.
Patch Management: Apply and manage operating system and application patches.
Solid understanding on WSUS, WDS & MECM
