Position Number: 008082 Department: Office of OneIT (Adm) Employment Type: Permanent - Full-time Months Per Year: 12 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The primary role of the Windows Server System Administrator on the OneIT Servers and Storage Team is to configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot issues related to Windows Server operating systems. + Managing and maintaining a Windows Server infrastructure. + Designing, implementing, and managing a multi-site Active Directory environment. + Managing and maintaining systems using advanced PowerShell scripting. + Designing, implementing, and managing Group Policy. + An understanding of security best practices. + Assist with the management of multiple on-prem data centers. Minimum Experience / Education: + Bachelor’s degree plus 3-5 years of relevant experience; or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. + Experience managing and maintaining a Windows server infrastructure environment. + Experience working with Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services. + Experience using advanced PowerShell in an enterprise environment. Preferred Education Skills and Experience: + Bachelor’s degree in related technology field. + Experience deploying and maintaining servers in a virtual infrastructure environment. + Working knowledge of managing PKI / SSL in an enterprise environment. + Experience with VMware vCenter/ ESX + Experience with Amazon AWS /Azure + Experience with automated deployment technologies, such as Ansible/ AWX . + Ability to learn new things quickly. + Communication and team skills.
