Insight Global is looking for a TS/SCI Windows System Admin to support a customer in Suitland Maryland. This work is 100% on-site. You will be asked to:
- Provide operations and maintenance support for Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
- Assume the role of technical lead, oftentimes mentoring junior personnel.
- Participate in technical planning, project coordination, scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and operational support requirements.
- Develop, deploy and manage professional service solutions
- Assess current network server systems and make recommendations for improvements based on customer business and technical requirements.
- Engineer and analyze complex LAN and WAN systems, including planning, designing, evaluating and selecting operating systems and protocol suites.
- Resolve difficult interoperability problems to obtain operation across all platforms including email, file transfer, multimedia and teleconferencing.
- Support acquisition of hardware and software, as well as vendor services based on technical requirements.
You should expect some CONUS and OCONUS travel to support regional network implementations. Salary for this position is between $130,000 and $165,000.
