Experian is looking for Systems Engineer to join our team. Your job will focus on several aspects of solving system problems using your technical expertise within the Clarity Business Unit across our various applications, services and servers. You will work with a team that works to produce quality deliverables promptly. Our team provides the opportunity to work independently and with other team members to accomplish the defined goals. You will report to the VP, IT Operations.
What you will do:
+ Manage and monitor all infrastructure and systems, including configuration, testing, and maintenance
+ Identify potential issues and implement solutions proactively
+ Administer and optimize hosts and servers to ensure a high degree of availability and appropriate resource management
+ Install and configure operating systems, software and systems while clearly documenting design, maintenance, and support procedures
+ Interface and coordinate with other staff and teams to perform operational and maintenance activities
What you need to have:
+ Strong technical knowledge of operating systems, networking protocols, database management, and system administration tools.
+ Problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve complex system issues
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
+ An understanding of security best practices
What we would like you to have:
+ 1+ years of experience with Splunk or other similar platforms
+ 1+ years of experience with Ansible
+ Experience with AWS
+ Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios and PMM
+ Familiarization with Ruby, Python, Bash or other scripting languages
