1. Introduction The Wintel Engineer will provide comprehensive technical support to ensure the efficient operation of the organisation's IT systems. This role focuses on managing support tickets, troubleshooting performance issues, handling system access, and resolving email-related problems.
2. Objectives
• Provide prompt and effective resolution of support tickets. • Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues across IT systems. • Manage and control access to organisational systems. • Address and resolve email-related issues.
3. Responsibilities • Support Tickets: Monitor, prioritize, and resolve support tickets submitted by users. Ensure timely and accurate resolution of issues. • Troubleshooting Performance Issues: Diagnose and resolve performance issues affecting hardware, software, and network systems. Implement solutions to enhance system performance. • System Access: Manage user access to systems, including account creation, permission settings, and access troubleshooting. Ensure compliance with security policies. • Email Issues: Provide support for email-related problems, including configuration, connectivity, and security issues. Assist users with email client setup and troubleshooting.
