Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation: Starting pay rate of $17.00, actual wage will be adjusted based on experience.Benefits: Full-time seasonal position, eligible for season pass for employee/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.Job Summary:
The Laundry Room Attendant is responsible for tending laundry machines to clean articles such as bed and table linens, bath towels, and uniforms. Stores, inventories, and issues or distributes bed and table linen and towels. Assists housekeeping in general preparation or cleaning.
2nd shift laundry room attendant position, 4-5 days a week, 2-10pm or 3-11pm
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Sort all linens looking for and treating stainsLoad articles into washer and ensure proper cycle of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agent are assigned accordinglyTransfer clean, wet laundry from washer to dryer for measured time cyclesFold dried linens and towels before placing them on labeled shelvesTake inventory of all linens and towelsExamine laundered items to ensure cleanliness and serviceabilityMaintain all laundry equipment and communicate issues to managerConduct inventories to identify items for replacement. Keep laundry area in a clean orderly conditionProvide superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times. Follow the Resort Hospitality Guidelines while interacting with the guest and respond to all guests in a courteous efficient manner.Responsible for cleaning the employee breakroomAssist in cleaning the public areasWill be required to assist the housekeeping team by stripping units, making beds, and cleaning units when neededPerform other duties as assignedBasic Qualifications:
Some high school education or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphsMust be able to lift 25lbsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
