The Department of Conservation and Recreation seeks applicants for the position Seasonal Office Support Specialist I (OSSI).

The incumbent will provide administrative support to the Division of Conservation and Resource Stewardship's Deputy Commissioner and business management staff as well as the Office of Cultural Resources, Office of Natural Resources, Office of Climate Resilience, Research Office, and GIS Office. This position will be primarily based out of the State Transportation Building at 10 Park Plaza.

General Duties include:

Liaise with inter and intra-agency administrative and HR professionals to support Program and Bureau needs.Respond to inquiries and provide information to internal and external contacts.Assist with the procurement of goods and services and payment of Program and Bureau expenditures.Responsible for the organization and upkeep of detailed filing systems/file rooms.Responsible for screening, answering, and following up on phone calls from internal and external parties.Maintain contact with agency staff, external agency representatives and the general public.Spreadsheet development, payroll information and data population/tracking and facilitation.Ensure office activities are operational and in compliance with standards or guidelines.Schedule and attend meetings; maintain electronic meeting and event calendars.Use of computer software or databases to prepare reports and compile data, conducting research as needed.Use of office equipment; printers, scanners, fax machines.Assist with coordinating unit or department programs and activities.Other duties as assigned.


Preferred Qualifications:
