Our Client, an Aerospace and defense company, is looking for a Wire Cutter Operator and Label Printer for their Orlando, FL location. Responsibilities: + Operate wire cutting machinery to cut and strip electrical wires to specified lengths and configurations + Manually cut and strip wire to specified lengths and configurations + Set up and operate label printing equipment to produce labels for electrical assemblies + Inspect and verify the quality of cut wires and printed labels to ensure accuracy and conformance to specifications + Package and prepare cut wires and labels for assembly and shipment + Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 6S standards + Follow established safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment + Collaborate with production team members to meet production deadlines and achieve quality goals Requirements: + High school diploma or equivalent required + Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to understand and operate simple machinery + Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions + Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet deadlines + Basic computer skills and ability to operate label printing software + Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move around the production area + Ability to work in a team environment and follow established safety protocols + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including: + Understanding of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams + Ability to identify and interpret dimensions, tolerances, and other specifications + Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment + Familiarity with wire cutting and label printing equipment + Basic knowledge of electrical assemblies and wiring configurations + Certification in a related field, such as IPC + The Wire Cutter Operator and Label Printer will work in a production environment with moderate noise levels and occasional exposure to chemicals and electrical components. + The employee will be required to stand for long periods and move around the production area to perform tasks.
