Job Title: Wire Harness Assembler
Shift: 1st Shift - Mon - Fri: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Job Description
Responsible for assembling prepared materials such as wire, cable, and sleeving materials, with other components provided in accordance with IPC620/Mil-Spec workmanship standards and customer requirements. Perform various manual tasks such as loading connectors, twisting wire/cable, installing labels and ty-wraps, potting, soldering, termination, assembly preparation, etc. Operate stripping machines as well as other manual tools. Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor or department manager.
Responsibilities
Verify traveler documentation for accuracy (part numbers, revisions, quantities, etc.).Check materials provided for physical damage or defects.Prepare cable (cut, de-jacket, strip).Perform basic assembly including loading connectors, applying labels, and applying heat shrink.Assemble harnesses using a board.Sign work order traveler after process is performed.Ensure that all materials are properly identified and packaged safely.Maintain work area clean and organized.Maintain a safe working environment and report any potential hazards.Be punctual in attendance and adhere to general work schedule breaks and lunch.Additional duties may be assigned if required.Essential Skills
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and follow established manufacturing and safety procedures.High school diploma or general education degree (GED).Three to five months related experience and/or training in the electronics field.Additional Skills & Qualifications
IPC 620/610 and J-STD-001 certification is preferred.Experience with soldering, crimping, and electronic assembly.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The position requires standing, sitting, and walking for several hours at a time and the ability to carry 20 lbs. Employees must maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhere to safety requirements, and report any unsafe practices. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Centennial, Colorado.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
