Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Bank Teller in the commercial banking sector. As a Wire Specialist, you would be responsible for managing customer transactions, maintaining accurate client records, and addressing customer inquiries. You will also be tasked with supervising customer accounts and implementing appropriate action. Responsibilities: + Greet customers warmly and assist with various banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments. + Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving account issues, and providing guidance on bank products and services. + Accurately and efficiently process cash, checks, and electronic transactions, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. + Balance cash drawers at the close of each shift and investigate discrepancies, if necessary. + Educate customers about online banking and mobile app features to enhance their banking experience. + Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all security measures to protect customer information and assets. Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or degree in finance, business, or a related field is a plus. + Proven experience in a customer service role; prior banking or cash-handling experience preferred. + Strong attention to detail, mathematical skills, and the ability to work accurately under pressure. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues. + Proficiency with computers and familiarity with banking software or systems. + Dependability, integrity, and the ability to adhere to bank policies and procedures. Requirements • Proficiency in Data Entry is required, with a focus on accuracy and speed. • Must possess a comprehensive understanding of the Banking Industry. • Previous experience in a similar role within the banking sector would be advantageous. • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. • Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. • Knowledge of wire transfer systems and related banking software is desirable. • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. • Must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in finance or related field is preferred. • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. • Should have a customer-focused mindset and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
