The BDC BT VI team are looking for an adaptable, enthusiastic, and reliable individual to form an integral part of our BT/UWB system integration and validation team in Bangalore. The team will work closely with the BT HW, FW, Systems teams across Geos. The team plays a pivotal role in testing HW IP and lower layer controller FW on pre-silicon emulation and post-silicon environment, system bring-up & integration for the company’s Connectivity products. Working within our team provides a unique opportunity to work across the engineering disciplines from high level SOC to low-level hardware/firmware. Typical tasks for the successful applicant would include: + Interpreting wireless specifications and product requirements + Developing test cases in C#/python/TCL or similar scripting language + Collaborate with senior team members to troubleshoot HW/FW issues and find solutions that are documented and shared with internal cross functional teams working on similar products. + Analysis and support bug fixes during final stages of program to customers + Communication of status/bugs/issues to leads + Software and hardware debug of testing issues + Working with other team members to plan development, testing and maintenance work **Minimum Qualifications:** + BTech with 1-2 years or MTech with 0-1 years of relevant experience + Possess knowledge of standard lab equipment including Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Protocol analyzers, and RF test equipment **Attributes required** : + Proficient in C and python programming skills + Technical background in wireless communication systems such as cellular, Bluetooth, UWB, WLAN, FM or IEEE 802.15.4 with testing experience + A good understanding of electronic hardware and reading schematics + Knowledge of RF lab equipment including Spectrum analyzer, logic analyzers, oscilloscope, Bluetooth testers etc. + Self-motivated, adaptable team player + Comfortable with taking responsibility for their team **Applicants** : Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
