Job Description
We are seeking an experienced wireless network engineer with an emphasis on designing, deploying, delivering modern solutions that would empower our global network leveraging automation and CI/CD principles to enhance performance, scalability and reliability.
You will report to the Senior Manager in USA , and work in hybrid model in Katowice, Poland.
Your Responsibilities:You will have designed, managed secure and scalable wireless network architectures including WiFi 6/7 and new technologies.Perform wireless site surveys (virtual and physical), RF planning, and capacity management.Configured and optimized wireless controllers, access points and related infrastructures.You will have developed and deployed 802.1x solutions which provide a secure, seamless wireless experience for internal/external customers.You will have developed and deployed infrastructure as code (IaC) for wireless networks using tools like Ansible, Terraform or other similar platforms.Help automate network deployment, monitoring and troubleshooting workflows.Collaborate with teams to integrate wireless network solutions into CI/CD pipelines.Prepare detailed network documentation including logical network diagrams, test plans, configurations, and security standards in Microsoft Visio.Mentor and provide training to junior level personnel in technical complexities of assigned work.Promote use of new technologies, work with vendors and research and test new hardware/software products in labs and present to improve performance, reliability and reduce costs.Develop, standardize implement maintain network topologies and security solutions that suits the requirements of manufacturing processes across all Rockwell Automation's manufacturing plants.Design, implement and support main global customers' converged business and manufacturing/industrial networks in parallel with business strategies.Coordinate design and implementation procedures to deploy industry leading SD-WAN, SD-Access, Stealthwatch, Umbrella infrastructure to provide secure, network platforms across the enterprise.Provide technical subject matter expertise, design, implement and ensure delivery and high availability of Rockwell Automation's Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN).The Essentials - You Will Have:Bachelor's Degree - Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.The Preferred - You Might Also Have:Familiarity with network automation skillsAt least five years of progressive experience in the Network Engineering field.What We Offer:Our benefits package includes …
