WIRELINE HD DRIVER

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Make sure the truck is loaded properly.
Check the weight of shipment before leaving.
Bind load properly.
Maintain vehicle at all times.
Ensure truck has proper and current inspections.
Comply with all D.O.T. laws at all times.
Perform occasional Hot-Shot runs or local pick-up and delivery.
Maintain driver qualification records and driving records.
Assist shop technicians when not driving.
Available on a 24 hour basis to respond to customer needs.
Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
Must understand and comply with all the safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Additional Duties:
Assist with loading and unloading oilfield tools on heavy and light vehicles in the field and at the shop.
Transporting heavy units to and from oilfield locations across Western Canada.
Delivering oilwell samples to laboratories, typically in Calgary.
Transport oilfield tools via light duty, trailer, and heavy units.
Maintenance of heavy and light units as necessary.
Various shop coordinating/upkeep duties as time allows.
Employment Period:
Seasonal Fall 2024 to end of Q1 2025.
Essential Requirements: Excellent communication skills 1-2 years’ experience driving trucks Must have a clean driving record, class 1 or 3, with trailer experience. General knowledge of rules and regulations governing truck drivers Ability to maintain required licenses
