**Position Overview** **Power your future with Qualus** in our Field Engineering department as a Wireman. The Wireman is to perform wire pulling, wire termination, and control panel construction withing substations and electrical facilities. Travel: Up to 100% **Responsibilities** + Reads prints, uses standard hand and power tools, follow specific work instructions while adhering to all Safety and Human Performance fundamentals + Inspect, test, repair, and maintain electrical equipment in generating stations, substations, and in-service relays + Wires from point-to-point or schematics + Install process piping and instrumentation + Installs components per layout drawings **Qualifications** + High School Diploma or Equivalent + Basic electrical knowledge in commercial, industrial, or utility projects + Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables + Ability to read company manuals and reports, workplace rules and procedures; speak with poise and confidence, using correct English + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds + Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) + Perform regular field work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions + Valid Driver’s license and good driving record Preferred Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of electricity as it pertains to substation construction and maintenance work.
