WMD Counterproliferation Expert
Ensure the safety and security of our nation as a WMD Counterproliferation Expert at GDIT. You’ll support training of foreign partners for the Department of Defense. Here, your work will have meaning and impact as you deliver your best every day.

Our work depends on WMD Counterproliferation Experts joining our team to provide expert, relevant training for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency's foreign partners.
HOW A WMD COUTNERPROLIFERATION EXPERT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Conducts training for partner nation law enforcement, border and response forces
Oversees administrative and logistic aspects of course delivery
Reviews, and authors training curriculum incorporating best practices and current tactics, techniques and procedures
Provides analysis and advice to government client and instructors on improving training and Law Enforcement capability of foreign partners
Develops exercises (Full-scale, functional and discussion based) in support of training
Provides analysis and reporting on course conduct
Coordinates actions of an interagency instructional team to deliver high quality training
Develops the complex briefings, reports, and short notice position papers, collaborates with broader security project teams in order to provide national security expertise
Serves as an expert resource on Law Enforcement and WMD issues
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
BS (or equivalent experience) in Emergency Management, Public Health, Criminal Justice, Political Science, National Security Policy Studies, International Affairs, Public Policy Administration or related field
10+ years of related experience
Knowledge of current technologies, best practices for design, and implementation of effective investigations and operations related to WMD is essential
Must be capable of providing expert advice, training, and leadership guidance regarding Law Enforcement WMD investigations, response concepts, operations and activities supporting WMD counter-proliferation efforts
Knowledge and experience in CBRN material as well as an understanding of the hazards associated with their manufacture, transport and use
Experience as a mentor, advisor, or liaison outside of the United States is highly preferred
Experience as an instructor is preferred
Eligibility for a Top Secret clearance
The likely hourly rate for this position is between $68.00 - $92.00. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
