DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business is seeking an IT WMS Configurer working on the Blue Yonder WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) to join the IT function.

\n

Sitting within the Self-sufficiency team within our Manufacturing and Logistics Business Unit you will be required to complete analysis of business requirements through process mapping and translating these into a detailed configuration of strategic products. You will act as the subject matter expert and carry out technical changes to system solutions to meet the business needs.

\n

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will be responsible for:

\n\nWithin the role you will analyse and configure the Blue Yonder WMS system to support with the on boarding of existing sites.\nCarry out standard configuration requests and support with any new go-live projects.\nResponsible for ensuring good maintenance of system templates to help streamline future on boarding projects.\nConfigure the strategic Blue Yonder WMS in line with the output from the design activities.\nProvide implementation support to various projects dealing with various different solution sets & products.\nEnsure effective fixes are deployed for identified defects, engaging with external and internal teams for fault resolution.\nAnalysis of business processes and design of new processes and system configuration to optimise future business operations.\nPlan and organise data collation and data set up for the agreed solution. Ensuring accuracy of data.\n\n

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

\n\nBlue Yonder WMS knowledge is essential for this role.\nIn-depth experience in solution configuration and SQL.\nAble to travel to customer sites as required.\nIt is critical that you have completed RP Discrete configuration Training and SQL Basics Course. \nDesirable - Merlin Silver (DHL O2D process best practice) and Prince 2 Foundation, Prince 2 Practitioner, Attended ACT Workshop.\n\n
