SHIFTS AND HOURS
We have a full-time day position available. Scheduled Shifts are 8 Hours / Day per week with shift differentials availableTRAINING AND ORIENTATION
Keystone Treatment Center is committed to Training and Safety. All New Hire Counselors will attend a 2 Day Facility Orientation and Patient Treatment Program Overview before spending 2 Weeks in Unit Orientation with a Preceptor. We can accommodate shadow shifts for interested candidates!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE MEDICATION AIDE (MEDAID)
This individual will work in office answering telephone, assessing callers. checking payer sources, scheduling transportation for treatment, helping with the admissions process, doing data entry and doing room assignments. This person must have compassion and empathy for the individual seeking help for their disease. They need a working knowledge of the disease of addiction and a willingness to help the patient and their families. This will be a rotating shift and weekends.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Associates Degree Addiction Counselor Trainee (minimum) through the SD BAPP.
