The assistant coach will assist the head coach in the day-to-day operations of the women’s soccer program with increase capacity around serving as recruiting coordinator and lead skill development coach. This position will assist in planning and executing daily practices, team travel, and scholarship distribution.Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Coaching and conditioning; provide specific feedback on performance in training and games Team outreach, community service projects Recruiting Coordinator Weekly CARA logs Team travel Potential student athlete evaluations Summer Camps- 2 weeks of youth summer camps and all Loyola ID camps the during the year Other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred. Two years of collegiate coaching experience in designated sport required. Understanding of and compliance with NCAA rules and regulations and commitment to the mission of Jesuit higher education.
Preferred working knowledge of compliance with NCAA and Atlantic 10 Conference rules and regulations and understanding of the commitment to the mission of Jesuit higher education. An ability to draw upon coaching/playing experience and contribute to technical training as well as in match tactical adjustments. Must have working knowledge of A10 and NCAA rules and regulations.
