Job Posting: Women's Trauma Counselor - Outpatient
Location: High Focus Centers, Jenkintown, PA
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 1 PM–9 PM; Flexible Hours on Friday. Full-Time, In-Person
Salary Range: $53,000 - $56,000 (based on education, licensure, and experience)

Your Role:
As a Women's Trauma Counselor, you’ll play a vital role in delivering compassionate, evidence-based care. You’ll work directly with clients to help them process trauma and build healthier lives while contributing to our mission of fostering hope and healing.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate group, individual, and family therapy sessions. Conduct level-of-care assessments. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans. Prepare materials for therapy sessions and maintain accurate client documentation. Evaluate clients’ behavioral and emotional needs. Collaborate in treatment team meetings to review progress and strategies. Ensure a safe, therapeutic environment and provide crisis intervention as needed. Participate in staff training, supervision, and team meetings. Support office programming and additional initiatives as required.Qualifications:
Education:
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.Experience:
Experience working with adults on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and gender-specific concerns. Skilled in group therapy, individual therapy, and clinical assessments.Licensure:
Clinical licensure preferred but not required (e.g., LCSW, LPC).Behavioral Characteristics:
Strong clinical judgment and skills in mental health/substance use/eating disorder treatment. Knowledge of HIPAA, Licensing, and CARF regulations. Effective communication, problem-solving, and crisis management abilities. Adaptable, ethical, and team-oriented with a commitment to professionalism.Why Join Us?
