Wood Products Rebate Team Lead

This role is a part of the Wood Products Finance and Planning function and reports to the Director Finance Planning – Engineered Wood Products (EWP). This is a Full Time, Exempt position, located in our Headquarters office in Seattle, WA.

In this role, your essential functions will be to:

Lead, mentor, and coach our team of Rebate Analysts, ensuring successful execution of team’s deliverables while also ensuring training and development of each team memberOversee the rebate calculation and processing ensuring accuracy of calculations, processing of rebate payments, and ensuring compliance with contractual termsProvide analytical support for rebate process management for all products sold to national, regional, and local dealers, builders, and distributors Problem-solving and communication with customers and account managers, Wood Products Accounting, Weyerhaeuser Internal Audit, KPMG, and IT.Think strategically and identify process and system improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy, acting as a strategic partner with IT.Provide regular, transparent reporting for proper visibility to rebate programs and performance

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance8 years combined experience in accounting, audit or rebates specific role, preferably with 2 years of people management experience as wellStrong communication, interpersonal, consulting, and influencing skillsWorking knowledge of financial systems (SAP preferred) and internal controls Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Account Principles Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines

What We Offer:

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $129,145-$193,858 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 20% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Paid Time Off or Vacation:We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours and paid parental leave for all full-time employees.
