Woodford Reserve 3rd Shift MultiCraft Mechanic
**Meaningful Work From Day One:** This role will provide general and preventive maintenance and repair of all production equipment, systems and facilities. Support new equipment and machinery installation, facilities upgrades / redesigns and give input on new equipment and facilities upgrades. Work overtime, including on-call weekend shifts, and across shifts as needed to support seamless operation. **What You Can Expect:** Safety/Environmental + Promote accident prevention by eliminating potential hazards and incorporating proper body mechanics in training procedures + Provide feedback and suggestions to improve ergonomics in the core process + Fully support Environmental Health & Safety Team initiatives Morale + Collaborate and communicate with professionalism in all areas and across all levels of the operation as well as with contractors and other external partners + Seek and leverage diverse ideas and perspectives to support continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives + Actively support effective shift-change meetings and team communication, including delivering thorough and accurate shift reports at the end of each shift, attending all scheduled team meetings and identifying opportunities for enhanced and timely communications Productivity + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems and manufacturing equipment such as motors, pumps, conveying systems, hydraulics and pneumatics. + Leverage work order system to track maintenance of the operation in order to identify replacement timelines and manage workflow and productivity + Resolve equipment issues by analyzing discrepancies, identifying repair parts and coordinating parts purchase(s) with Maintenance Coordinator + Diagnose and repair electrical problems + Troubleshoot, identify and repair issues with PLC systems + Maintain and repair facilities systems, including compressed air, boiler and fire suppression + Identify and repair issues within grain handling, mashing and distillation systems + Provide preventive maintenance and problem resolution for barrel handling equipment as well as general maintenance for all air-handling units + Partner with other members of the maintenance team to complete all repairs and project work on time and on budget + Maintain a clean and organized spare parts supply area Continuous Improvement + Actively participate in Continuous Improvement teams to identify and apply innovative solutions to optimize technology, people, processes and systems + Utilize resources effectively **What You Bring to the Table:** + Associates Degree or equivalent vocational training or work experience + Ability to work on-call weekend shifts as scheduled + Demonstrated experience in both single and three-phase electrical systems + Fluency in basic mechanical and electrical terms, equipment characteristics, and facilities maintenance terms + Proficiency in reading technical drawings and diagrams + Strong technical aptitude + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to manage through issue resolution. + Ability to anticipate roadblocks and issues that could derail a job + Strong attention to detail and time management skills **What Makes You Unique:** + Consumer packaging experience + Arc flash trained + Welding experience Brown-Forman Corporation is committed to equality of opportunity in all aspects of employment.
