Work Control Lead
Overview The Work Control Lead assists with scheduling and work planning for all Facility Operations and Management. They review and maintain technical drawings, including as-built drawings, installed equipment, and infrastructure. The Work Control Lead is responsible for logging asset management data, tracking preventive maintenance schedules in computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), and ensuring compliance with maintenance protocols. They perform service calls and work order tasks to completion under the supervision of the Work Control Supervisor Responsibilities Answer service calls and either complete the work independently or assist other public works personnel in work order or service call completion. Serves as the centralized customer service focal point. Processes all work requests, to include after-hours calls, dispatches craftsmen to emergencies, and writes corrective maintenance (CM). Classifies work using the most current Government work classification system. Reviews project specifications concerning assistance required, such as plan preparation, acceptance testing, and evaluation of field conditions, design changes, and reports Manage asset tracking and updates in CMMS, ensuring accurate data entry for preventive maintenance schedule May be required to work on Polish and US holidays Performs other duties and assignments as required. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. University degree preferred Satisfactory completion of a military or recognized trade school or correspondence course (Electronics Technician), or have a minimum of 4 years apprenticeship or equivalent work experience.Education / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. University degree Must possess a valid driver’s license Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in CMMS (Maximo) Skills & Technology Used: Ability to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions and procedures with minimal supervision, highly motivated and the ability to work independently or as a team. Ability to effectively covey detailed and technical thought processes verbally and in writing. Excellent prioritizing skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with those contacted in the performance of required duties. Ability to maintain accurate documentation. Must be able to speak and read English. Must be computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft Office.
