Job Description:
This role ensures that daily work, directed by maintenance, is scheduled and carried out safely in an effective, efficient (productive) way and documented per schedule.
What will be expected of you?
Responsible for safety, efficiency, productivity, reliability, and overall performance for all maintenance activities being coordinated in the assigned area. (Removing roadblocks, proper tools, procedures, techniques, material/parts, job readiness, etc.) this includes all activities - i.e. - Maintenance Crafts, scaffold, insulation, heavy equipment, testing, etc.Maximizes time in the field overseeing work while balancing time spent of office tasks such as coordination, updates, and communication.Leads the daily “Safety/Tailgate” meeting.Reviews job packages for quality prior to issuing to crafts.Ensures material is ready prior to assigning jobs to crafts.Issues job packages to crafts, shares any additional information about job.Check if all scheduled job sequences have been completed including documentation. Updates Maintenance Complete in SAP.Review craft completed job packages for value added history and planner feedback prior to sending to respective roles.Works with Operations Maintenance Coordinator on status of job preparations from Operations (are scheduled daily jobs ready, if not, when will they be ready for maintenance).Works with the Materials Coordinator on returning unused kitted material back to Stores.Supports the craft in the work permit procedure.Reports the progress of the daily work to enable adjustments to the daily work schedule when needed.Ensures the job site is clean when returning to operations (housekeeping).Works with the Scheduler and Operations Maintenance Coordinator when jobs will NOT be finished by the end of day to determine if overtime is approved to finish jobs.Works to assign resources and adjust schedule/resources if work cannot be performed. (Uses the “Grab and Go / Fill-In Work Process” to assign crafts tasks from the backlog).Support building the daily schedule with Scheduler and Operations Maintenance Coordinator.Works with other Work Coordinators to identify resource leveraging opportunities and integrate them into resource assignments.Support improvement efforts in the scheduling process and shares with Scheduler.Plans, creates job packages, identifies materials for unscheduled P0 and P1 Work Orders.Updates Maintenance Complete in SAP for all unscheduled and completed P0 and P1 Work Orders. Updates Maintenance Complete for all scheduled jobs.Supply job status / feedback to the Operations Maintenance Coordinator.Review and sign timesheets for any 3rd party contractors working in the area for correctness.Monitor and minimize overtime in the area. Works with the Operations and Maintenance Coordinator and leadership on overtime approvals, timing, etc.Updates metrics as assigned to the Work Coordinator Role.Works as the focal point for unplanned events in their respective area, managing the activities identified by the Operations Maintenance Coordinator.Ensure that the activities are carried out to comply with the integrated management system, as applicable (safety, food safety, GMP, health, environmental, quality and responsible care requirements).Essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed. If applicable, ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure required staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives.Work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives.Assists other employees in accomplishments of Indorama company goals. Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.Participates in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company. Participates in and completes company required training programs.What are we looking for in the Ideal Candidate?
Associate’s Degree with electrical focus or electrical apprenticeship, and 4 years of experience OR 8+ years of specific electrical experience.Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC card.Must have a level of proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft programs.Must be experienced in electrical blueprint reading, and basic electrical design and layout.SAP experience is beneficial but not required.Leadership experience beneficial.What can we offer you?
