ABOUT CANNINGTON 

 

Our Cannington operation is one of the world's largest producers of silver and lead.  Located in northwest Queensland, Cannington boasts an underground mine and processing facility situated approximately 800 kilometres west of Townsville and a concentrate handling facility at the Port of Townsville.

 

Flights are direct to the onsite airport, and the mine is only 3.5 km from camp—the perfect distance for a sunset walk or run home along a purpose-built walking track. The onsite accommodation includes meal services, sports/gym facilities, swimming pool, music room, and social area.

ABOUT THE ROLE 

 

We have several Permanent positions on an 8:6 roster, FIFO from Brisbane and Townsville, or DIDO from Mount Isa. We have vacancies in Mechanical, Electrical and Mobile equipment streams.

 

As the Work Execution Officer in either Electrical/Mechanical/Mobile, you will be responsible for supporting supervisors in your stream with breakdown rescheduling, assisting schedulers with regular work scheduling, managing materials, and performing SAP administration tasks.

 

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to: 

 

Organising and sourcing materials to ensure work readiness Managing SAP administrative duties for the execution team Supporting the scheduling team with updates and adjustments Coordinating logistics and freight, ensuring timely material delivery Tool store inventory management

 

 

ABOUT YOU 

 

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: 

 

Experience in trade, working alongside trade and/or warehousing environment within heavy industry Exposure to SAP, good computer skills and ability to manage administrative tasks Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

 

Qualifications for this position are: 

 

Technical trade or relevant industry experience Warehouse or logistics management qualifications. Tafe certificate qualifications in Logistics/Warehousing/Project Management or aligned in some manner with preferred trade stream. Forklift HRWL desirable
