Job Title: Workcell Manager
Location: Florence, KY


Jabil is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Workcell Manager to oversee the performance and operations of a designated workcell within our manufacturing site. This role involves ensuring the achievement of production, quality, financial, and customer satisfaction goals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.

IN YOUR ROLE YOU WILL :

Operational Leadership:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the workcell to meet production schedules, quality standards, and customer delivery timelines.Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Team Management:

Lead and manage a cross-functional team, including production supervisors, operators, and support staff.Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and employee development.Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and create individual development plans.

Financial Management:

Develop and manage the workcell budget, including labor, materials, and equipment.Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction.Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for efficiency and profitability improvements.

Customer Focus:

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer interactions related to the workcell.Ensure customer requirements are met or exceeded in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.Collaborate with customers to resolve issues and enhance relationships.

Continuous Improvement:

Champion lean manufacturing practices and Six Sigma methodologies to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.Lead root cause analysis for operational issues and implement corrective actions.Promote a culture of innovation and proactive problem-solving within the team.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse teams.Proven track record of building and maintaining customer relationships.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office Suite.
