The HRIS Administrator is an essential part of the HRIS and Payroll Team. This individual optimizes the efficiency of the HR systems through planning, implementation, ongoing maintenance, managing new developments, and end-user training. An ideal candidate brings Workday experience and demonstrates strong time management and critical thinking skills.
ResponsibilitiesAct as the lead system administrator by planning, executing, and implementing HRIS projects.Serve as the technical contact by assisting with process enhancement opportunities for platform-related workflows, the testing of system changes, and the integration with other business applications.Oversee and facilitate continuous change management related to implementation, new developments, and integration.Analyze system testing and user feedback.Identify the root cause of issues impacting system functionality and user experience.Support HR functions including people metrics, complex reporting, and predictive analytics.Ensure end users are properly trained for system use and SOPs are updated with current documentation.Act as the liaison between the HRIS vendor and the Human Resources department, as well as other stakeholders.Maintain knowledge of current trends, laws, policies, procedures, regulations, and issues affecting the area of expertise.Attend educational events to increase professional knowledge.Essential Skills4+ years of experience with HR systems and human capital management with Workday being a MUST HAVE.Experience with Web Services and APIs.Recent Workday Certification highly preferred.Experience with creating custom reports and fully utilizing existing reports within Workday.Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, computer science, or a related field.Additional Skills & QualificationsExcellent math skills and data analytics skills.Proficient with Microsoft solutions such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Power Automate preferred.Ability to prioritize tasks and deal effectively with competing and changing priorities to meet deadlines.Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized with task management.Ability to analyze and resolve difficult or complex problems.Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with members, staff, vendors, and government regulators.Ability to influence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures.Work Environment
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. This is a remote opportunity with the best states to look for candidates being TX, FL, TN, NC, SC, GA, MI, VA, MD. Other states that work include Alabama, Alaska, Colorado, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, and Virginia. Remote candidates from Florida are prioritized. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $120000.00
