Job Description A client in New Orleans is looking for a Workday Architect to join their team! This role serves as a liaison between business subject matter experts and IT in gathering and documenting of business requirements and functional requirements. Responsibilities include: Gather and document business requirements, functional specifications, and existing systems. Retrieve and analyze data via SQL; analyze and re-design legacy schema. Create Entity Relationship Diagrams and Schema Data Models. Develop wireframes, test plans for UAT, and training/support documentation. Document business processes using BPMN 2.0 standards. Collaborate with stakeholders; conduct demos and presentations. Advise customers on solutions, ensuring successful adoption and client satisfaction. Develop reusable templates, processes, and facilitate user workshops to ensure systems meet business needs. Skills and Requirements - Minimum 3 years of experience with Systems Analysis and requirements gathering experience. - 3+ years experience as a developer or BA or SA - 3+ years of experience working in different phases of software configuration, including application design and implementation experience - 3+ years of experience writing system requirements - 3+ years Workday HCM (Human Capital Management) - 3+ years Workday FIN (Procurement & Project) - 3+ years experience working on SaaS Solutions - Excellent knowledge of requirements gathering techniques and ability to run client workshops. - Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements to solutions and the ability to work with technical teams to deliver these solutions. - Strong understanding of business process mapping is essential - Experience in MS Azure DevOps Solution or similar tools like JIRA, Confluence, any project management tool.
