Workday Configuration Analyst

Job Overview

Salary Range: $105-130K

This role is 100% remote

Position Summary

Manages, maintains, and supports Workday configuration and data management activities. Responsible for configuration in Workday, troubleshooting and issue investigation. Will perform testing for configuration changes and executing content changes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Gather data from company absence plans - both union and non-unionManage project using Absence module in WorkdayMay use other modules as needed – HCM, Comp, Performance, Benefits, Payroll, Reporting and SecurityLMS is preferred.Performs configuration analysis and designWorks closely with HRIS Director to implement designed solutionsTests configuration solutionsProvides content configuration such as help text, notifications, etc.Updates fields in WorkdayUnderstands impact of field updates across the systemPlans setup and executes mass data updates through EIB processTroubleshoots issues in Workday and resolvesCreates and maintains security policy set forth by IT security and/or Application ManagerImplements Workday security in accordance with policy

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

Functional HR experience - ability to be able to run meetingsFluency in HR practices while also having the technical skillsetPrevious consultant work, project management, HR manager support, etcChange and process managementData management and analysisStrong communication skills (written and oral presentation skills)Able to read and interpret documented information and communications (safety rules, operating instructions and technical manuals)Ability to communicate with all levels of management

Experience Required:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in Workday ABSENCE module 5+ years of Workday configuration and security experienceOther Workday modules as needed – HCM, Core Compensation, Advanced Compensation, and Performance are preferredWorked with UNION time off and absence policiesHR experience and understanding of HR practicesPrior experience with systems implementations, data analysis, and project management

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
