Position Overview:
Minimum RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources, or other related field.Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Workday Configuration and administration, including HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking and Benefits Module. Other Credentials/Certification: Workday Pro Certification(s) PreferredKnowledge & Skills: Strong analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects.Mental, Behavioral and Emotional Abilities: Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as required, in a fast-paced, matrixed, team environment.Usual Work Day: 8 HoursReporting RelationshipsDoes this person formally supervise employees?: NoEssential FunctionsConfigure and customize Workday modules (HCM, Compensation, Absence, Payroll, Benefits) to meet business needs, including creating and maintaining calculated fields, business processes, and security roles.,Provide day-to-day Workday support, troubleshooting issues, and resolving configuration challenges.Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational standards.Develop test plans and conduct testing for Workday changes, including patches, upgrades, and new feature rollouts.Coordinate with end-users and stakeholders during testing phases to gather feedback and ensure successful deployment.Create and maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and updates for future reference.Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members and end-users as needed.Work closely with HR, Payroll, and IT departments to gather requirements, provide solutions, and improve Workday functionality.Act as a liaison between technical and functional teams to translate business needs into effective configurations.Stay updated on Workday best practices, new features, and industry trends to identify and implement improvements in the system.Recommend and lead initiatives for optimization and enhancement of Workday functionality.Physical Demands and Work Environment Frequent physical demands include: Talk or Hear Occasional physical demands include: Standing , Walking , Climbing (e.g., stairs or ladders) , Carry objects , Push/Pull , Twisting , Bending , Reaching forward , Reaching overhead , Squat/kneel/crawl , Wrist position deviation , Pinching/fine motor activitiesContinuous physical demands include: Sitting , Keyboard use/repetitive motionLifting Floor to Waist 15 lbs.
