Location: Chicago, IL **Key Responsibilities:** + Design, develop, and implement custom applications and extensions using Workday Extend. + Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. + Work closely with Workday functional teams to ensure seamless integration of custom solutions. + Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. + Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides. + Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and functionality of custom solutions. + Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to custom applications and extensions. + Stay up-to-date with Workday updates and new features to continuously improve and optimize custom solutions. + Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed applications and extensions. **Qualifications:** + Minimum of three years of experience in Workday Extend development. + Strong understanding of Workday architecture and integration capabilities. + Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, XML, and XSLT. + Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Workday certification in Extend or other relevant areas. + Experience with Workday Studio + Knowledge of HR processes and systems. + Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs.
