The Team

The Enterprise Operations as a Service Offering addresses our clients’ needs for on-going operations of their technology and business process investments through multi-year contracts. We deliver continuous modernization, manage releases, and address incremental business changes as part of our engagements.

Work you’ll do:

The Workday Grants Management Specialist will be responsible for configuring, managing, and optimizing the Workday Grants Management module, focusing on grants administration, compliance, reporting, and integration with other Workday financial modules. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Workday Contracts to Cash, Grants Management, and Customer Accounts processes, enabling them to streamline grants management operations, ensure compliance, and support the organization's grant management objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Grants Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of grants management, including award processing, budget tracking, compliance monitoring, and reporting using the Workday Grants Management module. System Optimization: Configure and optimize Workday Grants Management and Workday Customer Accounts modules to meet the organization's evolving needs. Data Integration: Ensure seamless integration between Workday Grants and other financial modules such as Payroll, Financial Accounting, and Expenses, facilitating accurate and timely data flow. Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards to monitor grant performance, financial compliance, and revenue recognition. Compliance: Ensure that all grant-related activities comply with federal, state, and institutional regulations. Maintain accurate documentation and support audit activities. Training and Support: Provide training to end-users on Workday Grants and Customer Accounts processes. Offer ongoing support and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Workday features and best practices and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience 2+ years’ experience working with Workday Financials and Workday Grants Management. Experience with configuring and optimizing Workday financial systems to support organizational objectives. Strong understanding of financial principles, particularly in the context of grant management, revenue recognition, and order-to-cash processes. Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. Ability to analyze complex data sets and generate actionable insights. Proficiency in Workday reporting and data analytics tools. Proven experience in managing projects related to system implementation, upgrades, and process improvements. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. Must live in a commutable distance (approximately 100-mile radius) to one of the following Delivery locations: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Gilbert, AZ; Houston, TX; Lake Mary, FL; Mechanicsburg, PA; Philadelphia, PA with the ability to commute to assigned location for the day, without the need for overnight accommodations Expectation to co-locate in your designated Delivery location up to 30% of the time based on business needs. This may include a maximum of 10% overnight client/project travel. Ability to travel up to 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred qualifications:

Workday certification(s) in Contracts to Cash and/or Grants Management, or related areas is highly preferred. Experience in higher education, research institutions, or non-profit organizations is a plus.
