Polaris is looking for a Workday HRIS Analyst to join our team. You will be the subject matter expert consulting with stakeholders on the design and maintenance of Workday HRIS, including core HCM, Recruiting, Learning, Benefits, Advanced Compensation and Talent/Performance. Evaluate new system functionality and recommend solutions in response to rapidly changing business requirements. Lead end-to-end implementation activities including configuration, testing, training, change management, and communication. Responsible for day-to-day system support with HR Business Partners and managers, troubleshooting, and other projects or responsibilities as required.JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Overall HRIS Administration/Maintenance of Workday (50% of time)
Act as main Workday System Analyst – develop excellent knowledge of the system and Polaris configuration across all modules
Act as subject matter expert, providing troubleshooting and other support for end users, escalate complex issues to HRIS Manager
Partner with HRIS team members to support requests sent to the HRIS shared inbox
Analyze internal business processes to ensure optimal configuration and to facilitate a continual return on investment
Consult with HR Business Partners and Center of Excellence Leaders to understand business needs and develop Workday solutions to address them
Ensure prioritization of change requests and evaluate the system-wide impact of any proposed enhancements
Partner with HR/Payroll System Admin to review and test weekly patch updates
Actively participate in Workday Community, customer groups and networking events
2. Reporting/Training (20% of time)
Act as global reporting expert – provide HR support for reporting queries
Create and maintain calculated fields for complex reporting requirements
Maintain report libraries and work with business groups to prepare relevant reports and dashboards
Prepare/communicate any training materials as required
Lead training on new system enhancements/functionality as needed
3. Biannual Releases/Enhancements (20% of time)
Partner with Sr. HRIS Analyst on system updates (2x/year)
Understand Workday update process and recommend Polaris’ adoption of enhancements (including timing)
Regression test enhancements to understand the impact on existing configuration
Configure and test all new enhancements and related changes
Assist with the preparation of training materials or instructions if necessary
Communicate and/or train users on new features or enhancements
4. Annual Processes (10% of time)
Support annual configuration required for compensation planning, performance management, and benefits open enrollment, consulting with functional areas on content decisions
Test and troubleshoot all configurations and business processes
Maintain hourly wage structure and process annual wage adjustments
Assist with the preparation of training materials or instructions if necessary
Conduct system training on new features or enhancements
QUALIFICATIONS- SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION:
4-year degree in Business Related Field Required (or equivalent experience) is required
At least 2 - 4 years of Workday-specific HRIS experience (including requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing, and implementation) is required.
Proven configuration knowledge and experience of HCM, Recruiting, Learning, Talent/Performance modules within Workday.
Proficient in Workday reporting, calculated fields, business processes, and security framework.
Other Workday module experience a plus (benefits, compensation, peakon, talent optimization, help)
Advanced knowledge of HRIS and technical skills
Excellent attention to details

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Remote based with travel to Polaris locations based on business needs.

The pay range for Minnesota is $78,000 to $97,000 per year. Individual salaries are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
