Workday Integrations & Reporting Analyst

A position at Xcel Energy could be just what you’re looking for. **Position Summary** Responsible for the planning, management, and implementation of Workday reporting and integration architecture to provide innovative solutions to the business. Serve as a key resource in ensuring reporting, integrations, and data exchanges are efficient, accurate, and sustainable. Identify, document and translate complex issues and present to stakeholders and subject matter experts. Provide technical direction to internal and external groups in accordance with HRIS technology objectives. Develop technology strategy support HR and business objectives. Consults with business and HR unit leaders to identify requirements and fulfill needed requirements. **Essential Responsibilities** + Serve as subject matter expert on assigned Workday Reporting and Integration projects and processes; design, develop, test, deploy, and document assigned reports and the Workday integration systems using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Web Services, Workday reporting, and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) tools. Understanding of Workday business process, workflows, and data requirements for Workday integrations across HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, Time, Compensation, and other key connections. + Research integration failures, perform root cause analyses, and provide summary to HRIS and/or COEs and business leaders, as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve integrations issues in a timely manner; complete root cause analysis and develop plans to mitigate risks in the future, + Ensure that data integrity and security are held to highest standards by providing appropriate access, restrict access where necessary through calculated fields or other methods; manage SFTP and other keys or passwords through company approved tools. Perform user audits and other auditable processes to ensure security and compliance standards are being upheld. + Ensures that all technology projects for aligned workstreams are prioritized and properly planned within HR Technology and with partners. Mostly independently, supports, maintains and develops HRIS reporting and integration technologies for aligned workstreams. Interacts with business and HR unit leaders/SMEs and internal customers to determine requirements and project objectives. Identifies gaps and resolves. Presents system-level solutions that add value to the business area. + Lead integrations requirements with cross-functional teams; ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications. Build technical specifications, field mappings, and process designs to support integrations landscape and process life-cycle. Stay up to date with new Workday integration features and best practices. + Maintain roadmap for respective technologies and workstreams; manage release process for push and opt-in feature enhancements; keep abreast of technology, industry and business trends to ensure that appropriate technologies are being considered in the planning process that meet organizational requirements. + Provides technical guidance to super users and support staff on the use of reporting and integration tools and instructs team members and business unit decisions makers on technical decision points and solution adoption. Support development and maintenance of training and communications materials. + Ensure data integrity in HCM systems through thorough testing of data loads and identification of intersections with other workstreams, technologies and integrations. Develop detailed integration specifications, data and field mappings, and other documentation to support the entire integration deployment lifecycle. Work cross functionally and with project teams to enhance efficiency across Workday through integration, reporting, or other data exchange processes. + Develop and maintain integration documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and landscape diagrams. + Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of integrations. + Responsible for integration audit documentation and support. + Lead role in cross-functional projects that may be complex in nature. + Partner and build relationships with stakeholders to align on objectives and advance Workday adoption and ease of use. **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelor's Degree preferred. + At least 8 years of professional experience and 4 years of experience working directly with Workday reporting and integration solutions to support business/HR objectives and activity, including administration of configuration and system set-up. + In-depth understanding of how all HCM technologies can be used and applied to the business. + Ability to understand changes in technology in detail and determine how best to source technology to meet the business needs. + Ability to understand business processes and coordinate with others. in system deployment. + Effective project management skills, including the ability to track status of deliverables, navigate the complexity of competing priorities and simultaneous initiatives, and to provide timely updates to stakeholders and drive progress. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting working relationships and collaborate across disparate groups. + Proven consultative and coaching skills.
