Description Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and support a Workday Payroll implementation. This role will coordinate stakeholders, manage timelines, and ensure successful delivery of payroll system configuration, testing, and go-live. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in Workday HCM/Payroll implementations and excels at cross-functional communication, risk management, and execution. Key Responsibilities: + Oversee end-to-end implementation of Workday Payroll, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance requirements. + Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams (HR, Payroll, IT, Finance) and external Workday consultants. + Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and manage scope, budget, and risks. + Facilitate requirements gathering, system design validation, and configuration approvals. + Manage testing cycles including UAT, parallel testing, and issue resolution. + Coordinate data conversion and system integrations, ensuring clean handoff to post-go-live support. + Drive project governance through regular status updates, stakeholder reporting, and executive communication. + Ensure readiness for go-live including user training, documentation, and contingency planning. Requirements + 10+ years of project management experience, with 2+ years supporting Workday Payroll or broader Workday HCM/Finance implementations. + Strong knowledge of payroll processes, compliance, and system integrations. + Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships. + PMP or other project management certification preferred. + Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. + Experience in fast-paced or complex environments (e.g., multi-state or global payroll) is a plus.
