We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager – Workday to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role is critical to the post-live review, training, and testing of our Workday Payroll processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Workday Payroll, experience in payroll management, and a strong background in process review and training. The role will ensure the integrity and efficiency of our payroll systems post-implementation.

This is a temporary assignment expected to last 4-6 months. 

What You'll Do Conduct thorough reviews of existing payroll processes in Workday, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring best practices are followed.Collaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Provide hands-on support for payroll teams post-go-live, addressing any system issues, and ensuring smooth operation.Design and deliver training sessions to payroll teams, ensuring they are proficient in using Workday Payroll functionalities.Develop and maintain training materials and documentation.Lead the testing of payroll design decisions to ensure they meet business requirements and function as expected.Document and report on any issues or discrepancies found during testing, and work with Payroll director and our Workday delivery team to resolve them.Lead end-to-end testing cycles and validate payroll outputs.Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related issues and inquiries post-live.Work closely with HR, IT, and finance teams to ensure payroll processes are fully integrated and meet business needs. Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management, with at least 2 years specializing in Workday Payroll.Proven experience in post-go-live support, process review, and training within an HRIS environment.APA Certification, preferred.Workday Certification in Payroll, preferred.
