Our projects vary in size from large multi-country full-suite implementations to smaller single module projects. We are a successful and established team, able to work collaboratively with our global teams. **What will you do?** + Main accountability is to achieve and overachieve revenues and profit targets supporting the overall strategic growth and priorities of the region and of the company and deliver high quality projects exceeding customers’ expectations + The role provides executive leadership and focus in defining, managing and developing a successful Professional Services organization within the GTM strategy of Alight while working in close alignment with the International Professional Services function + The role will closely collaborate with the other Functional Leaders and key stakeholders in the region and globally to ensure profitability and excellence of service for all clients aligned to the International Business as well as supporting the International Professional Service strategy deployment. + The Workday HCM Functional Director may be involved during the sales process for new clients, throughout their implementation, and will ensure seamlessly transition into ongoing services where appropriate. The role will lead governance and oversight for all projects and services, assuring projects and services are delivered within the agreed timeframe and with exceptional quality. + The role delivers expertise across Delivery, solutions, operations, compliance, innovation, client management, commercial acumen and transformation; while creating an engaging working environment that encourages colleague development. **Key Responsibilities** The Workday Senior Manager is accountable for end-to-end P&L for Implementation and AMS Services, and responsibilities include: + Thought leadership to drive efficient resource management in close cooperation at international level ensuring professional support for multi-country projects + Assume the P&L responsibility for Workday HCM Professional Services in the region, responsible for achieving revenue, profitability and operational targets while building the foundation for colleagues’ engagement and client satisfaction. + Build a strong alignment with the International Professional Services function to ensure consistency in standards, metrics and quality measures across the business. Communicate and foster such alignment within the regional organization to measure success of the Professional Services function in India and APAC. + Actively participate in the sales process for new clients and sign off on deal models for new business + Ensure active participation by the function during implementation phase of new clients, + Escalation point for clients and internal teams to ensure appropriate solutions are in place + Proactively anticipate potential issues, both at resources management level, at coordination level or customer support level, and analyze root causes to work on long term solutions. + Remain informed and abreast of industry developments and competitive marketplace looking for innovation and solutions development to anticipate and respond to clients’ needs ensuring excellence in service + Strong stakeholders management at multiple level: local (Functional Leaders), regional (APAC Leaders) and Global/International (ProServ VP and other key leaders) to ensure a coordinated and unique voice in front of Clients and a consistent approach towards development and innovation . + Develop talent within the organization to create a pipeline of future Leaders. + Key focus on colleagues’ engagement building a fair, engaging, developing, diverse and respectful working environment **Knowledge, Education, Certification, Skills & Technical Proficiencies** + Masters degree in Business Management, Economy, executive Management or equivalent + Fluent English skills required + Advanced Technology user, experience with virtual collaboration tools (Teams, Webex, Skype for Business or equivalent) required **Work Experience** + 14+ years of industry experience. Minimum 2 years in Workday Managing Consultant or in WD Manager role. + Proven delivery of strategic goals to increase profitability + Previous consulting experience preferred either as an internal consultant or with a consulting / software organization in another ERP application (e.g. PeopleSoft) + Experience defining global HR business and systems strategy, developing system requirements, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines + Significant experience in global collaboration required – this includes also leading colleagues from multiple different geographies + Experience leading and managing delivery operations required + Success proven work experience from managing matrix team working on complex deployment projects + Wide experience in effective management of various stakeholders with contradicting expectations or needs.
