The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Workday System Analyst to join our People Operations Team. You will play a crucial role in aligning HR technology with business needs, focusing on optimizing our Workday HRIS platform to support the company's evolving HR practices. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in Workday configuration and administration, who is passionate about leveraging technology and data analytics to drive business success.

Workday System Support: Provide day-to-day support for Workday, including researching, troubleshooting, recommending solutions, and resolving system issues. Ensure continuous improvement by actively seeking opportunities for process enhancement and automation. Configuration and Customization: support a comprehensive Workday system, including but not limited to HCM, Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, Learning, Benefits, Absence, Talent, and Data Analytics. Develop and maintain calculated fields, condition rules, custom reports, and dashboards to meet the organization’s needs. System Administration and Security: Oversee the administration of Workday, including user access, permissions, and security configuration. Maintain system integrity through regular monitoring, audits, and review of data feeds and system logs. Data Management & Governance: Ensure data quality and integrity by adhering to data architecture and governance models. Perform regular data audits, monitor data feeds, and manage user access and permissions. Documentation and Change Management: Produce comprehensive documentation, lead change management processes, and ensure enhancements are delivered according to quality standards. Own the People Systems Roadmap Manage bi-annual Workday releases by tracking new features, assessing impacts, and presenting relevant updates to business teams. Lead testing efforts to ensure quality delivery of enhancements. Participate in strategy planning to implement new Workday modules as needed based on the roadmap. Recommend, implement and plan for improvements and enhancements in the Workday system. Collaborate closely with business teams to understand functional requirements, develop new features, and deliver tailored solutions. Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and third-party SaaS vendors, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution. Training and Support: Provide end user support and training, manage tier 2 People team ticketing system inquiries, advise and consult with employees on systems-related topics or issues. Data Analytics: Leverage Workday analytics and other People tools to provide insights for business partners to drive data-informed decisions related to organizational health, diversity, performance, and other key HR metrics.

What we're looking for

Candidates living in Ontario Maintains strict confidentiality in dealing with sensitive, confidential information Proficient with Google Drive or related software Post-implementation experience with Workday, including intermediate to advanced experience in core Workday concepts and configuration. Experience managing multiple Workday modules, including but not limited to HCM, Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, Learning, Benefits, Absence, Talent, and Data Analytics Experience supporting security and compliance audits, such as SOC, SOX, ISO, HIPAA, etc. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Human Resource programs, policies and procedures Current human resources and/or compensation credentials or certification preferred. Workday Pro certification is a plus.
